Anoka Technical College to benefit from 3M Open Birdies for Charity
Golf enthusiasts can support Anoka Technical College Foundation in a new and creative way. Make a per-birdie pledge in the upcoming 3M Open Birdies for Charity, and you can support scholarships and crisis grants for Anoka Tech students this year.
The 3M Open Birdies for Charity allows golf lovers to support their favorite nonprofit by making per-birdie pledges in the 3M Open golf tournament held July 22-25 at the TPC Twin Cities. Participating nonprofits will receive 100% of the amount pledged by donors, and the donor who successfully guesses the exact number of birdies (or the closest to it) will receive a grand prize.
To pledge your donation, visit the 3M Open Birdies for Charity page by July 23 and click the “donate now” button. Once registered, guess the total number of birdies and submit a per-birdie pledge for the 3M Open.
“The 3M Open Birdies for Charity is a fun way to engage donors to support our students,” said Pam Russell, ATC Foundation development director. “Just watch those birdies fly, guess the number, and donations come in. And the funds raised can be used to meet the most immediate needs of students. Many thanks to 3M for supporting local nonprofits."
