焊接 students take home gold and silver medals in state SkillsUSA competition

焊接 students from Anoka Technical College participated in the 2021 state of Minnesota SkillsUSA competition.

学生 participated in multiple categories of skilled contests including welding and welding sculpture.

Wade Gartner won the silver medal in the individual welding contest w在这里 students’ skills are time tested in five areas of welding.

Travis Money won the gold medal in the welding sculpture competition w在这里 he designed, built and documented a sculpture and portfolio.

Money’s award-winning piece earned him the opportunity to represent the state of Minnesota at the national SkillsUSA contest w在这里 he will have to field questions from a panel of judges about the sculpture as he goes up against 50 other state contestants.
